Our Meditation LabyrinthWalk will continue again in March

The Montague Church is an open and caring community of Christians who gather together to share in worship, prayer, education, and fellowship. We seek to live our faith by example and action in service to the larger community, and the world. We welcome all who wish to attend our services, participate in our educational offerings, and join in our fellowship and world service.

We look forward to deepening and enhancing our experience of God in worship through the use of art. Watch for our displays of community artists that began in September, 2009.

We recognize the importance of education across the ages, and provide prayer groups, book talks, and Bible study for all ages. We are open to advancing the gifts and talents of those in the community through the sharing of the diverse talents that those in our midst possess.

Children continue to play an important role in our church community. We offer nursery care throughout the year, and church school is in session from September through June. We recognize the gifts and talents of children, as well as the enthusiasm and insight that they provide, and we welcome and promote their active participation in our services.

Our Church is located in historical Montague Center, Massachusetts, one of five small villages that comprise the Town of Montague. Our Music program, Sunday School, the Mission projects, Church Suppers, Christmas Fairs and Old Home Days are just a few of the ways we enjoy living and sharing our faith in the community! Join us as we walk together in life's journey to seek God's ways, Sing His praises, Learn and Share His Word and be Ambassadors of Christ and the Church.

350 Bell Ring and Climate Action

Every October, the bells of First Congregational Church of Montague ring out loud and clear. They ring out 350 times not just to call people to church or to mark the hours, but to join hundreds of other churches in the area and around the world to raise awareness about the need to reduce our carbon footprint in order to protect the quality of life on this planet. Currently the amount of carbon in the atmosphere is around 390ppm. Scientists from around the world agree that we need to be working diligently to bring that number down to 350.  For more info, visit www.350.org
