Prayer of Invocation

Open our hearts today, O Lord, to feel the powerful strength and love you have for us. Help us to listen, not only with our ears, but with our spirits for your words of compassion and healing. Enable us to become more faithful disciples for you; for we ask this in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ. AMEN.

Prayer of Confession

Jesus, our Savior, when we lose sight of you and become focused on ourselves, forgive us. When we allow our differences to divide us, forgive us. When we neglect to attend to the tasks that you have called us to do, forgive us.

Faithful God, in the midst of problems and difficulties, we may feel confused and alone. Remind us of your presence and your promise to guide us to new solutions. We ask all this in the name of your Son, Jesus the Christ. Amen
Words of Assurance
Be assured dear friends that the God of all kindness surrounds us with forgiving love so that we in turn might give grace to one another. Amen.
